The community of Martin will have a special parade for the varsity football team at 9:50 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, starting at the high school parking lot.
Citizens and fans are asked to line the streets downtown, make some signs and cheer on the Clippers as they begin their journey to Adrian to take on undefeated Lenawee Christian in the state semifinals of the MHSAA post-season football playoffs.
Lenawee Christian is 9-0 and Martin is 8-1, but the Clippers’ only loss was by a Covid-19 forfeit.
The winner will move on the following Saturday to the state finals, the championship game for the eight-man division.
