Martin, Wayland men facing child sex charges

A postal worker from Martin and a Wayland man are among six people who were arrested in connection with child sex misconduct charges.

The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s office announced the charges Friday.

United States Postal worker Alexander Bogdan, 33, of Martin, will face three charges, including accosting a child for immoral purposes and aggravated indecent exposure.

Joshua Knapp, 43, of Wayland has been charged with accosting a child for immoral purposes and using a computer to commit a crime.

The other four men are Brian Malone, 39, of Byron Center, Paul Drummond, 58, of Kalamazoo, John Morrill, 50, of Kalamazoo, and Brandon Moore, 37, of Kalamazoo.

Malone already has pleaded guilty in attempt to negotiate a lighter sentence. Drummons is a Portage Schools bus driver and Moore work for the Stryker Corp.

    I understand those who are convicted of such are more than popular in jail and prison. It is alleged many residents in prison hope all the guards take a vastly extended lunch break.
