There was quite a bit of confusion this week over the status of Martin’s scheduled football game at Eau Claire Saturday at noon. It was halted by Eau Claire’s forfeit with a 2-0 score.
The verdict left Martin with a perfect 6-0 record thus far this season.
The Martin web sites stated the game will still to be played, but not updated in time to reflect the latest development.
The Clippers will be back in action on their home turf Friday, Oct. 8, and will honor the 2021 Martin Hall of Fame inductees during halftime of the game against Mendon. The Class of 2021 includes Cathy Bogdan, Keith Cormier and Tom Hildebrand, who “have each made lasting contributions and had a positive impact on the students, staff, and school community during their many years of service.”
