Mass of Christian Burial is Wednesday for Frank Rybiski

Frank A. Rybiski, age 78, died Friday, Dec. 13.

Frank was an avid bowler, with more than 30 perfect 300 games and ten 800 series. He was a member of the Greater Grand Rapids All-City teams and the Bowling Hall of Fame. Frank was in the Army Reserves for more than seven years. He was a lifelong member of St. Therese Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife of 53 and a half years, Mary Lou (Alflen) Rybiski; children Sherry (Ron) Miklusicak and Bryan Rybiski; grandchildren Carli Miklusicak, and Alison and Cameron Rybiski; step-grandchildren Tosha and Chris Jordan, and Trista and Joe Borgic; sister, Theresa Wooten; in-laws Shirley (Robert) Canfield, Diane Alflen, and Carole (Steve) Weber; many nieces, nephews, friends and many special bowling buddies.

He was preceded in death by his parents Walter Frank and Angelita (Schwartz) Rybiski; and special niece, Lisa Wooten.

Visitation with the family will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, 312 N. Main St., Wayland, with a Rosary beginning at 4 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, with an hour of visitation prior at St. Therese Catholic Church, 128 Cedar St., Wayland. Father Alphonse Savarimuthu will be officiating.  Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery.

In honor of Frank, contributions may be made to Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.
