Mass of Christian burial will be Friday for Corlyss Leach

Corlyss Leach age 74 of Wayland, died Monday, May 2, after a long struggle with cancer.
Corlyss is survived by her husband of 55 years, Gary Leach; children: Tina (Brian) Collings, Penny (Dale) Kaminski, Julie Leach, nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; sister Carolyn Derby, sister-in-law Patty Zoulek, brother-in-law Bill Leach, sister-in-law Linda Leach and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth Smith and Carmine Sheldon-Smith; brothers Kenneth Smith and Volney Smith and her sister Colleen Smith-Marquard.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, Wayland Chapel, 312 N. Main St., with the rosary starting at 6 pm and one hour of visiting prior to Mass at church on Friday. The mass of Christian burial will be held 11 a.m. Friday at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, 128 Cedar St., Wayland. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
