Edward Glusic, 92, of Wayland, died Dec. 20, 2018.
Born to Andrew and Mary Glusic on the family farm on Aug. 5, 1926, he married Eleanore Levandowski April 30, 1949. Edward served in the United States Navy during WWII.
He is Survived by daughter Maryann and Cas Rakowski; grandchildren, Casey and Amanda Rakowsksi of Warren, Elizabeth and Terence Mahone of Los Angeles, CA, Andrew Rakowkski of VA, Anna Rakowski of Wayland; great-grandchildren, Isabelle Rakowski, Julian Rakowski.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Edward Glusic Jr., two infant children; sisters, Catherine and Anna; and brother, Steve.
Visitation with the family will begin 10 a.m., Tuesday April 30, at St Therese Catholic Church, 128 Cedar St, Wayland, with a memorial service immediately following. Father Christian Johnson will officiate. Burial will take place at St. Cyril & Methodius Cemetery with full military honors to conclude.
Instead of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Edward’s honor to Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods.
