Eric Scott Jirtle, a
ge 38 of Wayland, died Sunday, Dec.18, after his courageous battle with cancer.
Eric was very active in his church, St. Peter’s Lutheran and their mission church. He was very devoted to his wife, family, relatives and friends. He also took pride in his career at Idealease of Grand Rapids
Surviving are his wife of two years, Jennifer; his expected daughter, Avery; his stepson, Grayson Langworthy; parents, Steve and Kim Jirtle; brother, Nathan (Jodie) Jirtle; his grandparents, Elmer (deceased) and Dorothy Jirtle; and Ron and Mary Jane Van Dam; and nieces, Cambrie Ouwinga and Jenna Kish; many loving uncles, aunts and cousins.
A memorial service for Eric will be held at noon Saturday, Jan. 7, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 4125 18th St., Dorr.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Eric’s memory may be made to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church’s “Corner Church” fund.
