Roy C. Whitthoff, age 71 of Decatur, Ga., died April 15.
Roy was an MSU graduate. He had a unique sense of humor and was thoughtful about remembering others with cards on special occasions. He volunteered with the Master Gardeners at a local community center and at Legacy Park
He is survived by his sister, Yvonne (LeRoy) Smith; nieces Marie (Andy) Smith, Rachel (Jeremy) Weber; great-nieces Alisha (Bruce) Weber, Taylor Weber, Angelita Ledesma; and special friend, Wallace Moore.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Gladys Whitthoff.
Per his request, cremation has taken place. A luncheon celebrating Roy’s life will be held on Saturday, May 21 from noon to 3 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus, 1896 135th Ave., Hilliards.
