Delores “Deedee” (Lewis) Engle, age 78, of Dorr, did Thursday, June 2.
Deedee loved to sing and enjoyed cooking for others. She was a hard worker and loved time with her family.
Delores is survived by her sisters Stella “Marie” and Jack Farmer, Norma and Harold Lenz, Nancy and Terry LaFountain and Patricia Wolhuis; her brother Ben and Henrietta “Etta” Lewis; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents Theodore and Margarette Lewis, nephew Jimmy LaFountain, niece Jody Bartholomew, brother-in-law Lawrence Wolhuis, step-father Mart Isenhoff and her lifelong partner Jack Mead.
Friends may spend time with her family from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, June 13, at the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services, Dorr, where a memorial service will be at 11 a.m. with Pastor Don Graham officiating. A private graveside will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Orangeville.
