Memorial service will be Saturday for Doug Wind of Hopkins

Douglasphoto_20150805_wm0045549_0_obit_photo_20150805 G. Wind,  70, of Hopkins, formerly of Wyoming, died Tuesday, Aug. 4, at his home.
Doug was born on May 5, 1945, in Wyoming to Henry and Doris (Poyser) Wind. He served our country during Vietnam in the Army. In 1971, he married Marlene Tollefson and she survives. Doug loved bowling, living in the country, working on his yard and his Chihuahuas.
Shawn and Greg will always treasure the time spent golfing and fishing together. The family will always remember the camping trips and time together.
He is survived by his wife; Marlene, children; Shawn Wind, Joy DesJarden, Monica (Timothy) Hunt and Greg (Mary) Wind, eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and brother Ralph (Anna) Wind.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Philip Wind.
A memorial service is being planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at the Kubiak-Cook Dorr Chapel. The family will receive friends and family from 10 a.m. until time of service.
