Ruth Nienhuis, age 72 of Wayland, died Tuesday, Feb. 24.
Ruth was active at the American Disabled Veterans Bingo. She loved gardening, fishing and camping.
Ruth is survived by her son, Albert Nienhuis; her grandchildren: Tony, Kendra, and MaKenna; her sister Mary Lou McGee; brother-in-law Norm Plaat; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters Harold, Paul, Pat, Bev, Carol and Sue; her nephew Wade; and her best friend Ruth Dodd.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services, 4330 18th St., Dorr, with an hour of visitation prior to the service.
Donations in memory of Ruth may be made to the family for expenses.
