Kasey Lee Duiven died unexpectedly on Christmas Day, Wednesday, Dec. 25.
Born in Grand Rapids on March 28, 1991, to parents Kurt Duiven (Dana Boeskool Hrusovsky), and Molly (Dan) Barto, he was a 209 graduate of Wayland High School. Kasey was a father who loved his two children and family, and he loved being outdoors, and his motorsports.
He is survived by his wife, Tayler Marie Duiven; children Karter Lee and Keslynn Adelae; brother, Kyle (Emily) Duiven; in-laws Jeff and Pam Koperski; grandparents, siblings-in-law, nieces, nephews, step-siblings and friends.
Visitation with family and friends will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, at Gun Lake Community Church, 12200 W M-179 Hwy. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan 2, at Gun Lake Community Church. Pastor Dan Beyer will officiate.
