Timothy Lee Deubner, age 76, died March 20 at his home in Hopkins.

He was born in Muskegon Jan. 22, 1948, to Willard and Doris (Stevenson) Deubner.

Tim graduated from Muskegon High School in 1966, served in the US Air Force, and then got his bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University. Tim was a financial manager, working many years at Highland Chrysler Plymouth in Grand Rapids.

He enjoyed many hours working alongside his wife, restoring their farmhouse to its original form. He got pleasure out of woodworking, landscaping/gardening, reading, watching sports, and getting together with family. Christmas time and picnics were very special times. Tim spent many hours with his grandson, Sawyer; the past several years were priceless to him.

He is survived by his wife, Marcia (Timm); and five children Jason, Ryan (Samantha), Adam, Nicole (Brandon), and Timothy John “TJ” (Krystal). He also leaves behind his grandchildren Grace, Sam, Sophia, and Sawyer; by his brothers Dennis (Sue) and Jeff (KayAnn); brothers-in-law Gary (Sandy), Dan (Nik), and Brian (Kay); and sisters-in-law Judy (John) and Sharon (Ric); as well as many nieces and nephews. Tim was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 4, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home – Wayland Chapel, 312 N. Main St., with a prayer service from 4 to 4:30 p.m.
