Daniel Scott Rowan, affectionately known as Danny, died Friday, Aug. 4, in Kent City. He was a 1999 Hopkins High School graduate.

Born to Larry Rowan Sr. and Sandra Vernon Rowan on June 26, 1981, in Grand Rapids,Danny was a beloved husband, father, son, and brother, known for his generosity, loving nature, and passionate spirit.

After graduating from Hopkins, Danny embarked on a successful career in the auto body industry. He was a dedicated manager at ABRA Auto Body in Sparta, where his colleagues admired his work ethic and commitment. Danny’s generous spirit was not only reflected in his personal life but also in his professional one. He was always willing to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction and was a mentor to many of his colleagues.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Rowan; and his daughter, Kayleigh Rowan.

Danny is survived by his wife of five years, Sofie Rowan; his daughter, Haeven Rowan; his sons, Nolan, Brycen, and Aiden Rowan.  Danny also leaves behind his father, Larry Rowan Sr., his brother, Larry Rowan Jr., and his sister, Jenni Vaughan; his mother-in-law, Asa Andersson; and his brother-in-law, Linus Andersson;  his sisters-in-law Susanna Birath and Jeanette Sjostrom; and his many nieces and nephews

A memorial visitation to celebrate Danny’s life will take place from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, at North Ridge Funeral Home, 88 E. Division St. in Sparta.
