MESSAGE plans Earth Day art display in Martin

M.E.S.S.A.G.E, a student environmental group, is working with the Martin High School Art Department to put on the second annual Earth Day Art Display.
The deadline for students to submit art is 3:05 p.m. Thursday, April 20. The work must have a theme of environmental protection or address a related topic (such as renewable energy).
“People from around the world will come together to celebrate, act, and discuss their common home,” MESSAGE President Austin Marsman said. “I believe that youth should get involved in the environmental sustainability movement, this is our fight”
Marsman has been MESSAGE President for six years. The acronym MESSAGE stands for Martin Environmentally Sustainable Schools Action Group Elite.
