Mike Miklusicak, a 2014 graduate of Wayland High School, has been named to the second unit of the all-MIAA football team. Miklusicak returned from a knee injury that sidelined him during the 2017 season to record 104 carries for 643 yards and five touchdowns during MIAA play. “A relentless competitor, Mike has overcome so many things in last two years,” Hope College coach Pete Stuursma said. “Two knee surgeries did not stop him from being a team captain, an inspirational leader, and an example of hard work. He had an unbelievable career here at Hope.”
