Mini Park tree coming down; smaller one to go up

The large tree in the Mini Park, corner of East Superior and North Main in Wayland, is coming down. “The good news is the absence of a tree will be short lived, a city official posted on Facebook. “It will promptly be replaced with a new tree. The new tree will be smaller, but will be much easier to manage and won’t be so “overtaking” of the Mini Park.
