This is disheartening obviously. Causes one to wonder, to what level and how broad of a search was performed? It is my understanding, that an extensive search party was formed, resulting in the successful location of the missing motorcyclist several months ago. On Christmas Eve a couple of years back, a group of neighbors were ready and willing to search for a missing child who was found to have actually been with a friends family. It was said that many resources were at the ready to aid in location, including thermal vision equipment and a state police rotorcraft. If a search was even performed, how extensive was it? These questions, observations, and assumptions could cause one to wonder what value we actually place on our seniors. As far as their perceived value, dignity, and the general attitude of the rest of our society/community. Their contributions, regardless of the individual are obviously paramount. Perhaps I missed the details regarding any search for this gentleman, honestly hope that is the case.
