Wayland Union High School will hold a “mock crash” scene outside behind the high school in the rear parking lot at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 20.

There will be police, fire and ambulance vehicles on site. This is only a simulation and its purpose is to highlight to students the dangers of distracted driving or driving under the influence.

A school district spokesperson said, “We wanted to make you aware of this event and that it is only a simulation in case you hear sirens or notice emergency vehicles at the school.”
