The monthly folk music gathering at Vibrant Grains Restaurant in downtown Wayland will not be held this Saturday because it will be on the Fourth of July.
“For the first time in four years I am not holding a monthly folk music gathering,” said organizer J.D. Gonzales. “It so happens that the event falls this year on a national holiday and I think you should go out and celebrate our nation’s birthday with family and friends.
“So we are taking July 4th off. See you August 1st.”
The gather customarily takes place at 6 p.m. on the first Saturday evening of every month at Vibrant Grains, 142 S. Main St., Wayland. Included are guest performers, open mic and jam sessions.
