Mother Nature to Michigan: ‘No spring for you’

Wednesday morning’s snow dump in Michigan prompted a lot of jokes from Facebook posters. One asserted the arrival of hail Tuesday afternoon was a “Hail to Michigan” for losing the NCAA championship basketball game. Another said Old Man Winter isn’t through with us yet. Another recalled the Soup Nazi from “Seinfeld” with the declaration “No spring for you. Come back one month!” This photo by Amy Lou of Dorr maintained, “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.” Facebook also was peppered with snarky comments from local people enjoying spring break in warmer regions.
