Today was the day when the new Leighton Township Fire Department engine 1313 came home to station #2. A department spokesman said, “Thank you to our community for all the support in making this happen. While we still need to have pump training in a few weeks from Spencer Manufacturing, we wanted to get it home before the storm hit. This way we have access to all the new tools we have installed on it, as well until the department is fully trained and we can officially put it in service!”
