It certainly isn’t often that you can take in Shakespeare in downtown Wayland on a weekend evening. But that’s exactly what took place Friday evening when the new community theater members provided the classic play “Romeo & Juliet” under the direction of Nathan Savinsky. The new local theater group has designs on presenting more productions as part of recent efforts to make Wayland a happening town on summer weekends, just like it was 75 years ago.
