Terrorism charges have been filed against Otsego High School student Peter Trudelle, 18, who is accused of threatening a mass shooting, and an unidentified juvenile has been apprehended for deliberately pulling a false fire alarm at Wednesday Wayland Middle School
Trudelle was arraigned in Allegan County District Court. He was charged with two counts of making terroristic threats, which is a felony with penalty of up to 20 years in prison
Trudelle’s classmates at Otsego High School indicated he warned them not to come to school and threatened to launch a shooting worse than the Feb. 14 Parkland, Fla., massacre.
The teen-ager apprehended at Wayland Middle School reportedly is moving out of the district and bragged about doing the deed on social media.
