Preliminary work has started on Gregorville Road in Wayland Township this fall. The project will include a stretch from Division to 6th Street, 2.02 miles and include clearing, grading, culvert replacement, adding aggregate, crushing, shaping and restoration. The Township Board accepted the bid of Langlois & Sons Excavating in the amount of $462,442.00 (lower than what was budgeted for the project). Pavement on that section will be done next year. Plans are to do the remaining portion of Gregorville Road, from 6th Street to Patterson the following year. Funds are coming from the township’s road budget, which is heightened by the revenue sharing from the Gun Lake Casino.
