Students in Kara Denhof’s government classes at Wayland High School organized a mock election Tuesday. President Donald Trump won in a landslide, as did Republicans John James for U.S. Senate, Fred Upton for 6th District Congress and Steve Johnson for State Representative.
The results as tabulated:
• President: 60% Trump (R), 33% Biden (D), 7% 3rd Party.
• US Senate: 57% James(R), 37% Peters, 6% 3rd Party.
• US House 6th District: 63% Upton (R), Hoadley 28%, 9% 3rd Party.
• Mi Legislature, 72nd District: 59% Johnson (R), 41% Cheng-Schulting (D).
• Prop #1- 77% Yes, 23% No.
• Prop #2- 80% Yes, 20% No.
