Wayland High School graduate Presley Hudson and her Central Michigan University teammates seemed every bit as formidable as they did last season in their 104-61 victory Thursday night over Oakland University. The Chippewas, who reached the NCAA Sweet 16 last March and fashioned a 30-5 overall record, were never in trouble. Despite playing only 24 minutes in the 40-minute game, Hudson led all scorers with 26 points, nailing 6 of 12 three-pointers. She is a good bet to become CMU’s all-time career leader in scoring, free throw percentage and assists. She graduated from WHS on 2015 as an all-stater and Miss Basketball runner-up in 2015.
