Presley Hudson, a 2015 graduate of Wayland High School, was honored Saturday for becoming central Michigan University’s all-time leader in assists and three-point field goals. She was acclaimed in a ceremony before the Chippewas defeated Western Kentucky 108-90, a contest in which she scored 34 points and nailed six of 11 three-point attempts. Hudson also owns CMU’s single-game scoring record with 43 points. While at Wayland, she was an all-state selection and runner-up in the annual Miss Basketball balloting.
