Wayland High School graduate Presley Hudson nailed five three-point field goals in a row in the first quarter Saturday and finished with 31 points to lead Central Michigan University to a 78-62 victory over Western Michigan in Kalamazoo. It was her third annual “pseudo homecoming” in playing before friends and family 30 miles away from where she went to high school, was all-state and runner-up in the Miss Basketball balloting in 2015. Hudson had seven three-pointers Saturday afternoon, bringing her season total to 105, a new school record. She already holds the CMU single-game record with 43 points.
