Private burial planned for Kim Brotherton of Wayland

Kim Brotherton, age 61, of Wayland, died at home Wednesday, June 2.

Kim loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. After retirement, he also loved to travel to places like Mexico and Jamaica.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Janet; children: Ryan and Candace Brotherton, Kyle and Karra Brotherton, Avery and Angela Brotherton; grandchildren: Abigail, Carter, Adalyn, Cullin; aunt, Lynda Stilley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gearl and Barbara Brotherton, brother, Scott Brotherton.

According to his wishes, there will be no service. A private burial will be held at Blythefield Memorial Gardens.
