Martin High School graduate Jeffery Keith Lawler, 61, of Vicksburg, died Friday, June 14, in Kalamazoo.

Jeff was born on Sept. 24, 1957, in Kalamazoo, to Ronald and Susan (Philley) Lawler. Jeff married Jane Leonard on Oct. 10, 1981.

Like his father and grandfather, Jeff was in the paper industry, where he took pride in his work for 30+ years. He was an athlete in high school, and remained an avid sports fan throughout his life. Jeff loved to golf, and he enjoyed watching and supporting Detroit sports teams, especially the Lions and Red Wings.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Jane Lawler; children, Jamie (Greg) Goecker and Jeffery William (Cori Klein) Lawler; grandson Jeffery James Lawler; father, Ronald Lawler; brother, Theodore (Carole) Lawler; and several nieces and nephews.

Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Susan Lawler.

The family will be having a private celebration of life at a later date.
