Private service planned for Wanda (Brenner) Beyer

Wanda Mae Beyer (Brenner), age 85, of Hamilton, died Thursday, Oct. 12, at Trillium Woods in Byron Center.

She was born at home on Feb. 10, 1932, in Monterey Township to Harold and Edith (Satterlee) Brenner. She was a 1951 graduate of Hopkins High School.

Wanda enjoyed watching the birds, tending to her flower gardens and enjoyed going to auction sales.

She is survived by her husband, of 67 years, Joseph Jr.; her children, Janet (Lyle) Boyles, Nancy (Jeff) Payne, Colleen (Lewis) Stein; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; her sister, Charil (Robert) Standish; her sisters-in-law, Bonnie Brenner, Beatrice Berens, Bernice Beyer and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Violet, Harold, Floyd, Donna Lou, Robert and Larry.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place.

Private Graveside Services with family will be held at Salem Township Cemetery in Burnips at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28. Memorial contributions may be made in Wanda’s name to Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
