In New Hampshire, there are really five viable candidates who have a chance to win the state primary and move on to the next debacle. My take on their chances at getting the Democrat candidacy for president are listed below, regardless of who wins New Hampshire — both Iowa and New Hampshire are not good indicators of the national attitude about these losers.
Former Vice President Joe Biden — He’s been there and done that how many times now? Three, four? He wants it, but time has passed him by. He has a hard time remembering where he is half the time and his taint from his son, Hunter, is not helping his credibility. He will not be the candidate for president.
Pete Buttigieg — A small town mayor with oversize ideas. He looks like Howdy Doody and speaks a great line. No experience in working with others on a national level, no national experience or business background. His time in South Bend was not a great overall success. He’s a lightweight who tries to say the right things. His lack of support in the African-American community is troubling and a big roadblock in the Democrat leadership conversations. His chances are about 40% at this time.
Amy Klobachar — A lightweight senator from a fly-over state, like Mayor Pete. Has questionable legal outcomes as state attorney general and support from big business is a big question that may come to light during the election process if she is selected to move forward. A very dark horse in this race. Her chances are about 20% at this time.
Bernie Sanders — An Independent running as a Democrat. Why the party even lets a pure socialist run under their banner is bizzare. But with the pressure from the young radical band of four in the House who push his buttons to go all out socialist and free stuff for everyone. His chances, given the Democrat lean toward radicalism, give him the edge to land the Democrat candidacy.
Elizabeth Warren — A person who has consistently lied about everything, from her heritage to get a job at Harvard to her earlier years teaching high school and not having the required credentials to remain in her position. She will stumble when not giving everything to everybody for free. Her chances are about 10% at this time. Unless she makes up mucho ground in the next few months, she will be done.
The rest of the field are also-rans. Not a chance in hell they will win the chance to run as president on the Democratic ticket.
Mike Bloomberg — The outsider who’s interesting, Bloomberg, is spending millions every day. Too bad he isn’t getting much traction for cash spent. He is not a politician for a grand scale as president. New York will elect anyone if they have a “D” by their name. He wasn’t that good a mayor, but much better than DeBalasio (Bill DeBlasio’s actual name is Warren Wilhelm Jr.). Evidently, he didn’t like his name.
Bloomberg loves himself so much, he is betting billions on his chances on winning. The advertisers/media buyers are making out on this joker. His chances are about 5-10% at this time.
Hillary Clinton — She will raise her ugly head one more time to get traction to steal the limelight for the party to focus on her when Bernie is on the cusp of winning the national Democrat Party presidential candidacy. She may get enough support from the established Democrats to push poor old Bernie aside to run against President Trump one more time. I think the party as a whole is sick of both Bill and Hillary and want to move on, but selecting Bernie, an Independent – not even a Democrat, is a stretch. Hillary could come back from the grave one more time to put the hex on the Democrat Party. If selected, she will lose and lose BIGGLY!
Your expert political prognosticator on the job!
The rotting of America and the Democrat Party from within continues…
Chester James Carville,” the Raging Cajun”, is saying the Democrats are becoming a cult, out of touch with the people. He is not a fan of Senator Sanders along with the Democratic elite, they are desperate to stop Senator Sanders at any cost. Proof is a Billionaire one of the people the left hates with a passion, an old rich white guy, is being accepted by the party, the infernal regions are freezing over.
Ranger Rick
Once again a excellent article…I do believe the Democratic Party is in such disarray they may have to wait years before unification is even possible.
The next few months will prove to be very interesting.
Rick has a hang-up with “Democratic-Socialist” Not understanding the Democratic big tent. He castigates Warren with the same type of repeated personal charges that destroyed Hillary in spite of being exonerated after years of investigation. Warren has the best program, but the corporations will never allow her election, even if she ekes out the nomination. She is a clear and present danger , more than Bernie, to their profits.
