Well, the pollsters were wrong big time AGAIN. Talking about voter suppression, the Democrats have a built-in suppression mechanism and it is called the media and pollsters. The media parrots what the polls say, so it suppresses the Republican vote and contributions (who wants to send money to a candidate that is losing or so say the lying pollsters?).
The media dutifully reported the state by state voting results, minute by minute, hour by hour, until finally calling the election for Biden/Harris – which should rightly be called the Harris/Biden ticket as old Joe will be in an institution soon due to dementia/Alzheimer’s. If he makes it two years will be a miracle. He forgets where he is, what office he is running for, his opponent’s name, his wife’s name – he is a walking gaffe machine.
Sometimes he even catches his mistake, many times not – he just keeps going and the media never focuses on it. Would they keep quiet if President Donald Trump displayed such diminished mental acuity? Never.
The media talking heads should stay off the air until all votes are in for each state and a winner/loser is determined then the information given to the deadheads on television to report. Example in point: Florida was completely counted on Tuesday night because they could count all the absentee ballots before and during election night along with Tuesdays votes cast in person.
Everyone in the media knew the votes were counted, however, they would not call the state for Trump. In Arizona, 15minutes after the polls closed, they called the state for Biden and there were thousands of votes to count (and they are still counting).
Both honest and supportive Democrat and Republican voters can accept the results of the vote IF it is determined to be fair and equitable for both candidates. That means vote on election day OR request an absentee ballot from the precinct/county clerk as a legal voter in the district.
Mail-In ballots should be outlawed as residents are mailed ballots without requesting one. It just arrives at the person’s residence. That person may no longer live there, may have died, may not want a ballot because they are voting in person, etc. If you don’t vote in person or by a requested absentee ballot, you don’t get to vote. Michigan uses a absentee ballot request system where you are notified you can request an absentee ballot. My question is how are Michigan absentee ballots kept in the precinct? Are they locked in a safe where only the clerk can access them? Can others get access to them?
There was a person recorded in Detroit speaking to another, evidently they were poll workers, one saying one could get more filled out ballots for Biden if he needed them! I would think all ballots with just Biden/Harris spot filled in on the ballot and no other offices voted for and filled in would be suspect.
Can a ballot in Michigan be counted if only one candidate or party if straight party ticket and no others such as non-partisan candidates filled in? I don’t know. Maybe a clerk or poll worker could answer.
AG William Barr is requesting an investigation of many reported voting irregularities. I hope, as all citizens, both Republican and Democrat, should demand an investigation to make sure these allegations are looked into. Otherwise, citizens will never trust another election again.
For four years President Trump was investigated over Russia, Russia, Russia, as in Russian help to beat Hillary Clinton. We endured all of the investigations and resulting reporting, the talking heads waiting with baited breath saying this will be the downfall of Trump… then bupkus, nothing, no proof, no impeachment confirmation in the Senate.
Not one tough question for Biden in any interview ever. With all the swirl around Hunter and his involvement in Burisma oil company, Chinese banks giving money to Hunter (with 10% to the “Big Guy”), and all the Biden family being enriched by Joe’s political connections and influence.
And for those of you bitching about investigating the voting allegations, Al Gore was allowed 37 days to protest the vote count in Florida in 2000. Not a peep from the talking heads about that! So for those of you saying Biden is the president elect – only the media has declared that.
The investigation should move forward to determine if there were irregularities or not. The evidence must be there to proceed, so it may be a process of futility, but it must play out.

As a poll worker, we are committed to counting ballots fairly. The audacity to say that there is voter fraud is a fallacy perpetuated by folks we who won’t accept the results. Shame on you

Thanks for your work and fairness. I am afraid the facts show not everyone working the polls has your integrity.
I think all Americans would accept the voting results if only poll voting and requested absentee ballots were the only voting vehicles used. There can be no “mail-in” ballots as possible (and probably so) is one way to commit unlawful fraud voting. Those ballots are untethered to voters if anyone can get one and fill it out.
The situation of fraud committed in Michigan involved two areas;
voting software irregularities and absentee ballots in the Detroit area illegally added to the count.
Ms. Washburn, I doubt anyone would accuse you or fellow poll workers of any fraudulent activities in our local polls and the article never accused locals.
Ms. Washburn, would you please enlighten me on where absentee ballots are stored and who has access to them when a request comes in from an eligible voter?
I presume the township clerk checks it out and if OK. It is sent the the requestor’s address.

Though I am more Republican than Democrat, I view this election a bit differently.
President Donald Trump using “tweeting” as a primary means of communication may have not been wise.
Not being a politician, but a successful (possibly even ruthless) businesses person did him no favors. Especially when you haste to promote giving things away for “free, which seems to be the way to stay in politics. The private sector CEO makes more than in the public sector.
I believe a huge mistake was made promoting the notion that granting eligible voters with the right to vote by mail would promote massive fraud.
Can someone explain the difference between a mail-in ballot and an absentee ballot. Both are mailed in. It seems evident many voters do not know the difference between an application for a ballot and a ballot. How many reading this have received an official ballot without applying for one? I’ve voted by mail for the last 25 years and never received a ballot without applying for one.
I may stand corrected, but since people may not fully understand the correct way to fill out their ballot, it is possible voting by mail may not be for them.
Ballots mailed in prior to election are secured and processed according to specific guidelines. Election fraud would have to be a very large coordinated effort. A few people could never do it… especially for a presidential election. Claiming a state’s vote was fraudulent is insinuating the opposite party was “paid off ” to overlook any irregularities since representatives of both parties are involved in the counting process.
The example Ranger Rick described would definitely take some money for any election workers to risk spreading time in federal prison. So much paperwork would have to be altered to accomplish this.
I truly would like to see President Trump win another term. In reality the Republicans and President Trump created their own downfall. This country may not be ready for a president who is not a politician, but a businessman.
Politicians promise things for “free,” such as education, health care, wages, no borders etc. This seems to be the mindset of the future. Currently the majority agrees… we who believe America is rotting from within have no choice but to stand by and observe the final product.
The media would have stated the Russians interfered with our elections now that Vice-President Biden won somehow they did not interfere in the Election, funny how that works. The elections were free and fair now that the socialists won, had they lost it would not have been, they can do that with a bias media and get away with it.
