Owning a house or business is usually considered legally as “private property.” Trespassing on a person’s property, at least in the Midwest, especially Michigan, without permission is bad manners in the least, and a confrontation at its worst.
I once saw a man slowly going from west to east across my property. I owned some acreage and sometimes allowed people I knew to hunt at the back lot line. I put on my coat and went outside. I asked the person why he was on my property. He explained he shot a deer earlier in the morning and he was tracking the wounded deer, but he was having a hard time picking up the trail.
There was about two inches of snow on the ground. I picked up the tracks but no blood trail. I asked him where he hit it and he didn’t know. I was thinking what hunter doesn’t know if he hit his target or not and if it was a killing or wounding shot.
I told him the guy to the east of me was not happy with people on his property at all and if he was to trespass there, he may be in trouble. He didn’t seem too alarmed and pushed on to the east. About ten minutes passed and I heard a pistol shot and a yell “Get off my property”.
I saw the tracker hightailing it back across my land and met him as he was running, gasping for air. He said the guy was nuts and fired at him. I told him the guy doesn’t miss, it was a warning shot. He said he was going to call the police. I told him to go home and forget about it. He didn’t.
About twenty minutes later I saw the cruiser go past to my neighbor to the east. He was given a stern warning about discharging a firearm and scaring the trespasser, but no charges would be filed. I think some people feel it is OK to go across somebody else’s property without permission.
So it was in St. Louis when the Marxists and BLM anarchists entered a private area without permission and started to yell and intimidate a man and his wife at the first house they came to. I guess the owners didn’t take it too well and brandished weapons to defend their property from invasion and possible looting, ransacking, and burning the house down.
Good for them! A crowd like that knows only one thing — the possibility of bodily harm or worse by gunfire. This will be repeated many times over in the future when citizens know the police will not respond or they are disbanded or told to “stand down” when these creeps are on parade. Have you viewed your local gun shops lately… busy, busy, busy.
And it has nothing to do with anger over black deaths by law enforcement, that was just the excuse to explode into riots and looting, beating and killing others. The BLM and Antifa are Marxists and only wait for situations as this to enflame the ignorant, mostly white young minds full of mush, to hate their whiteness and “white privilege.” What claptrap and bullsheet. The deaths recently of black men at the hands of law enforcement were tragic, however, the courts will adjudicate the police involved.
There hasn’t been slavery since a few years after the Civil War. It was a dark stain on the United States and has the been a huge sin on our collective souls. We should be aware of the institution, but when will we be free of past? According to liberals, never. Even though “liberals” are almost always Democrats and Democrats were slave holders. They were the KKK. They were the “Yellow Dog” and “Dixiecrat” Democrats and opposed the 1964 Equal Rights and 1965 Voting Rights for blacks. The Republicans were the party of Lincoln, the Emancipation Act, and voted in favor of the 1964 and 1965 laws. Talk about a clearly discombobulated thinking that Democrats are the party for the black race!
The defunding and disbanding police departments is not the answer. It will take more police than ever to control these anarchists and Marxists. Possibly the Guard will need to be involved in areas that are out of control in the future.
Am I afraid that things will spin out of control? No, I’m afraid for those who fail to realize what is happening, and if it does spin out of control, who will protect you if you are defenseless (as in weaponless)? Don’t plan on the police coming to your rescue.
They have been disrespected, beaten physically and mentally by both agitators and their own administrations. Elite anti-crime officers have been disbanded in New York, Minneapolis is in the throes of disbanding their force, Detroit and Chicago officers are under pressure. Retirements are up and many are tired of fighting a two-front war with protestors/rioters and administrators. The “bad guys” and professional criminals are becoming more emboldened.
What are Trump and Biden’s view on these situations and their solutions to quell the problems? I can tell you what Biden’s will be and it will be formulated by the far left of the party, who now control the Democrats and Pelosi and Shumer have no response or influence over them.
This will only get worse under a Democrat administration. If you want more destruction, more anger, more killing, vote Democrat. Biden is your man (a lefty puppet)!
