Local businesses, residents and authorities are reporting a rash of thefts of catalytic converters from parked vehicles. Wayland Transmission and Auto Service posted on Facebook Wednesday morning, “Last night our business was hit by people stealing catalytic converters. We are installing more surveillance cameras and will prosecute you to the full extent of the law when we catch you. I can’t believe what this world has come to.”
