

Parishoners at the St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Wayland, and SS. Cyril & Methodius Parish, Gun Lake, said their good-byes last week to the Rev. Fr. Evelio Ramirez.
Ramirez has been appointed Pastor of the Collaborative of St. Peter Parish, Douglas; St. Basil Parish, South Haven.
He is being succeeded by Rev. Maximilian Nightingale, Parochial Vicar of St. Monica Parish, Kalamazoo. Father Nightingale remains a Judge of the Diocesan Tribunal.
Ramirez, fluent in both Spanish and English, spent two years at St. Therese and recently observed his 10th year in the priesthood.
