Tanner Curry (52)The Martin boys’ basketball team ran into league unbeaten Fennville Tuesday night and lost 78-50.

The Blackhawks now are 17-1 overall and 10-0 in the Southwestern Athletic Conference North Division while the Clippers are 6-4 in the SAC and 8-10 overall.

Fennville wasted no time in taking control of the ballgame. They shot out to a 23-11 lead in the opening quarter and mounted a 39-19 advantage at intermission.

Sophomore Tanner Curry led the Clippers with 22 points and he and Garrett Dill both had six rebounds.

Aaron Overhiser netted 14 points for the Blackhawks, who had four players score in double figures.

Martin Friday evening will play in the SAC crossover game.
