The Wayland Kiwanis will sponsor a Back-to-School ice cream party Wednesday from 5 to 6 p.m. in the wake of the cancellation of the party in the park Tuesday night. Inclement weather forced plans to be called off, and the event won’t won’t be rescheduled. The party this afternoon will be held at the Wayland Union Schools maintenance building at 324 W. Sycamore St. and the first 450 to attend will get free ice cream sundaes.
