Authorities who were conducting a search for two missing children Saturday evening in Watson Township found both of them safe about an hour into their quest.

The children were reported missing at about 8 p.m. Saturday in Watson Township near 120th Avenue and 20th Street.

Specialized multiple crews, including those with a K-9 unit and thermal imagery equipment, responded to the scene.

There was no word yet about how the children went missing.
