Traffic was backed up on northbound U.S.-131 Wednesday afternoon after a semi struck the 144th Avenue bridge. No one was hurt in the incident, but there was some debris and disappointed motorists. The Dorr Township Fire Department has reported thge MDOT has concluded its initial investigation and has decided to reopen the 144th Avenue overpass.
