Mason Alexander Shehorn, age 23, died unexpectedly Saturday, June 18.
Mason had many hobbies, those of which included playing kickball, video games, and hanging out with his friends and family. His friends often described him as the “life of the party” and “the light in their dark days.” He graduated from Hopkins High School in 2018.
He will be deeply missed by his mother, Cassandra (Steven Depweg) Shehorn; siblings Brycen Shehorn, Bailey Shehorn, Madelynn Shehorn, Ella Shehorn, Keaton Tegrootenhuis, McKenna Tegrootenhuis; maternal grandmother, Dorothy (Russ) Pappert; maternal grandfather, Saulo (Maura) Montalvo; paternal grandmother, Connie Shehorn; step-grandparents Mark (Charlene) Tegrootenhuis; and many aunts, uncles, extended family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Shehorn Jr.
A memorial service will be held 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2022 at Abundant Life Church, 4041 Byron Center Ave. SW, Wyoming, MI 49519. In memory of Mason, contributions may be made to the family to assist with final expenses.
