LeRoy Doxey, 89, died Friday, Dec. 17.
LeRoy served his country in the United States Air Force. He continued to serve his community through his involvement with the Dorr American Legion.
He is survived by his children Pamela (Phillip) Brock, Allen (Xiaolan) Doxey, Nancy Doxey, Catherine (Joseph) Morris; grandchildren Shawn DeBruhl, Travis (Sara) Menzel, Genie, Josh and Jeremy Morris; great-grandchildren Kelsie (Wesley) Howery and Zachary (Carson) DeBruhl, Alexis, Addalyn and Austynn Menzel; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Doxey; brothers Robert Doxey and Raymond Doxey.
Visitation with the family will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services, Wayland Chapel, 312 N. Main St. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services, Wayland Chapel. LeRoy will be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery next to Louise.
In honor of LeRoy and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Elara Caring Hospice.
