Service planned for former Yankee Springs woman

Beverley Belluomini, 90, of Belmont, died Friday, May 18.

Beverley was born on July 19, 1927, to Ray and Hazel (Standish) Fillingham and grew up on a farm in Yankee Springs. She graduated from Thornapple Kellogg High School in 1945 and while working at Stow-Davis met Arthur Belluomini and they were married in 1967.

Beverley is survived by her children, Steven and Grace Gulch of Middleville, Barbara Gaedert of Traverse City, Stanley and Karen Gulch of Rockford; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren; her sister, Thelma Higgins of Hastings; her sister-in-law, Gloria Bell in Carol Stream ,IL; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur in 2005, her granddaughter, Becky Gaedert in 1998; and her sisters Maxine Barry and Shirley Yarger.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Tony Russo at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 23, at Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church, 4865 11 Mile Road NE, Rockford. There will be a one hour visitation prior to Mass at Church. Beverley will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery in Wyoming.

Those wishing to offer an expression of sympathy are encouraged to make a memorial contribution to the Plainfield Senior Center Northview Senior Citizens.
