You made my life and so many others better and you were the epitome of a true lady.”

Mrs. Otto underwent a double lung transplant in 2004, and noted last fall in an MLive feature story, “…transplants last maybe five years or so. I am on my 14th year. God has been good.”

She is survived by her husband of 40 years; children, Joshua (Amanda) Otto, Jeremy (Taylor) Otto; grandchildren, Colton, Camryn, and Clay Otto; father Donald Mercurio; siblings, Diane (Bill) Meister, Paul (Carolyn) Otto, Carl (Barb) Otto, Phil (Carolyn) Otto; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
