Service Saturday for former Hopkins man Dale Fouse

Dale Eugene Fouse age 69 of Six Lakes, formerly of Hopkins, died Feb. 11.

Dale was born on Sept. 14, 1949, in Memphis Tenn., the son of Donald and Juanita Fouse. He grew up in the Montcalm area with this two sisters, Faith May and Glenna Fouse. He joined the Army in 1966 and served overseas for three years in the Vietnam War. He returned home in 1969 and started a family.

He drove truck for most of his life. He moved in 1985 to Hopkins, where they bought a bowling alley and lived for many years. Dale enjoyed traveling, bowling, golfing, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Juanita Fouse, and his sister, Glenna. He is survived by this daughter Laurie and Ben Luxford, sister Faith and Dick May, grandchildren Lily and Luke Luxford, nieces and nephews Don and Kim May, Troy May, Melody May, Greg May and many great nieces and nephews.

Services with be held at 11 a.m. at Rock Lake Methodist Church 8227 N Pine Grove Road, Vestaburg. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m.
