Dana Everett Russell of Martin died Tuesday, Feb. 8. Dana was 56 years old.
He was born in Chicago Heights on Jan. 10, 1966, to George Santiago and Evelyn Russell. Dana loved anything to do with Air Soft. He was known as Archrival in the Air Soft circles. Dana was passionate about his model car collection. He also enjoyed detailing cars.
Dana never walked away from anyone until they were a friend. He loved to make people happy and adored his children. He would pick on them, but they were the apple of his eye. He graduated from Otsego Adult Education in 1993.
Dana is survived by his significant other, Carol Rambo; his children: Devin Schneider, Troy Jones and Makayla Plof; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Tony Love; his best friend Dustin Platteborze
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, at the Avink McCowen Secord Funeral Home; 120 S. Woodhams St., Plainwell, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 19.
