Jeanette Kooistra, age 88, of Wayland, died Tuesday, Jan. 22.

Jeanette will be sorely missed, she was a good mother, grandma and unique individual.

She is survived by her daughters, Karen (Phil) Robbennolt, Gloria (Bill) Medendorp; son, Wayne (Cheryl) Kooistra; 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; siblings, Esther Fincher from Tempe, FL, Alvin (Henrietta) Van Middendorp from Grand Rapids.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, John Kooistra; three children, Connie Courtright, Kurt Kooistra, Brian Kooistra; son-in-law, Jim Courtright; daughter-in-law, Phyllis Kooistra; grandson, Heath Courtright.

Relatives and friends may meet with the family from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at the VanderLaan Funeral Home in Hudsonville. Interment in Allendale cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice.
