Service Tuesday for Patric Markoski, 68, of Hopkins

Patric John Markoski, 68, of Hopkins, died Thursday, June 5, at his home surrounded by family.

Born June 2, 1957, in Plainwell, he was the son of the late Conrad John Markoski and Adeline Rose (Lutostanski) Markoski and was the husband of Donna M. (Jurrians) Markoski.

Patric was a lifelong member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and had attended St. Stanislaus School through the eighth grade. He then graduated from Hopkins High School in 1975 and, later, from Aquinas College. Patric was owner and operator of Eagle Eye Fencing for many years.

He loved spending his free time outdoors hunting, fishing, boating, riding motorcycles and going mushrooming. Patric also enjoyed playing rounds of pool with his buddies whenever he was able. He had a big heart and a wonderful sense of humor that will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, Donna, Patric is survived by his children, Miranda (Alberto) Berecca, Joshua Fifelski and Dayton Fifelski; grandchildren, Victoria, Bella, Ethan, Logan, Oliver, Hunter and Aimslee; great-grandson, Isaias; siblings, Christine Thomas, James (Linda) Markoski) Carol Barnhardt and Peter (Ethel) Markoski; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel, on Tuesday, June 10, from 5 p. to 8 p.m. with a Rosary service at 7 p.m.. Mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church Wednesday, June 11, at 11 a.m. with visitation for one hour prior. Burial will follow in the church cemetery
