Service Tuesday in Spring Lake for Dennis Heuschele

Dennis Lee Heuschele age 67, of Hopkins, died Friday, Nov. 30.

Dennis was born on March 26, 1951, graduated from Godwin Heights High School in 1970, and attended Grand Rapids Junior College (GRCC) and Davenport University. Dennis retired after a 32-year career from Westinghouse/Knoll Group.

Dennis assisted with Little League teams while his children were growing up. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, watching birds, traveling with his family, attending car shows with his white Mustang.

Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Mary Heuschele (nee Ary); four children, Deborah (Dale) Miller, Dawn (Randy) Sharp, Denise (Daniel) Vork, Donald (Jamie) Heuschele; 16 grandchildren, Olivia, Alexis, David, Samantha, Erikson, Brianna, Ronnie, Derek, Sylar, Dysun, Dalton, Emma, Madison, Molly, Brooke-Lyn, Casey; sister, Dee Vaupel (Gary), of Manistee, brother Dale (Elma) Heuschele of Baldwin; two neices, Kim Poma, Sherry (Christoph) Hintze; mother-in-law, Lois J. Ary of Grand Rapids, and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ollie and Fred Heuschele, his sister Diana Gates, and his niece Kathy Cousar.

Celebration of life service will be Tuesday Dec. 5, at Nortonville Gospel Chapel, 14528 Leonard Road, Spring Lake. The family will receive visitors at 10 a.m. and the service will be at 11 with Pastor Dennis Snyder officiating, with a luncheon following.
